A precise interpretation of lithium-ion battery (LIB) heat generation is indispensable to the advancement and accomplishment thermal management systems for different applications LIB, including electric vehicles. The internal resistance a lithium titanate oxide (LTO)-based LIB was determined at state charge (SOC) levels current rates understand relationship between generation. Random pulse discharge step durations were applied consider effect SOC interval on total generated measured operating temperatures in Netzsch IBC 284 calorimeter. It seen that 6.7% decrease high corresponds 0.377 Wh, 0.728 1.002 Wh 26A, 52A, 78A discharge, both 20 °C 30 °C. However, 1.85% medium already 0.57 0.76 0.62 can be inferred impact level this cell more prominent lower than higher SOC.
